This is the first book in the series and still my favourite of all. The dolls are amazing, the techniques are wonderful and the three doll patterns included are all fantastic and interchangeable. A must for any dollmaker's library.

One of the key books about Art Dolls  - Susan Oroyan takes the reader on a journey through the key principles of doll creation in several different media. There is so much information in this book - the broad headings include evolution of the doll, the head, the body, body joints, assemblies and finishing the figure. A must have for the serious doll maker/designer or even collector.
